NuTan VaRsh-bhiNaNdaN !!

Yep, today is the LaST day of the year, LaSt sunset of 2009 when the sun as usual will disappear below the horizon...leaving behind traces of the glorious days that were baked-out perfectly, with a taste of sweetness and garnished with mirth and joy !! :)

They say that mind thinks and portrays the similar reactions that it discovers from the outside world; meaning there is an analogy of what we see and the subsequent response made to it.....

Thus, what I draw and sketch is testimony to the fact that I too am feeling the passing of each moment in a hushed and muted way, cautiously caring not to make a noise and thus slipping away into the unknown, making way for a new angelical child that will come pronouncing, of a beginning of a zippy and zestful episodes.....

So, here i am, sitting and gazing the setting sun through my windows; a sun that will rise again tomorrow, but belonging to a new year. It will shun its old form and attire and appear with a new zing and shine, to mark the beginning of another set of experiences.....

I find the setting sun, waving a “FINAL-ADIEU” to all of us but simultaneously preparing us to gather all our enthusiasm and fervour to welcome a new day, a new year n hence a BRIGHT NEW MORNING SUN, bathed in freshness and bracing perfumed novelty.

Fleur-de-lis !!

Wow.....amazing.....ecstatic.......beautiful.....!!

Yes, these reactions are imperative when you see these “Blooming-Blossoms”. I too was astounded by these wonderful creations; their seductive display of the bright colors, the turns in the petals zooming outwards and the stamens with BIG anthers hanging beautifully in the centre..... This truly demands a mention in my “Orange-Blossom – paragon of eternal love & fruitfulness” and I am already feeling flowery when write about them.....!! :)

I was thrilled to know that “LILIES” are of whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, reds and purples; all displaying ludic strokes from the creator’s palette. The elegant flower stands as symbol of joy, new hope and new life; just stare at these beauties and I am sure you all will shake a YES-head in unison. :)

“Six broad corollas, perfectly folded and fitted, stretching their arms outwards as if opening them for you to embrace them; big and beautiful anthers placed at the tip of the long stamens truly entices you to touch, feel and get fascinated by their charm and finally the way they appear bend and bowed down willingly, giving it all, on the green stalk leave us startled and astounded”.

The flower stands depicting the perfect rendition of simplicity and grandeur that is glorified by every aspect of it. I feel good and invigorated by these creations and SMILE profusely thinking that I too was named after such jocund beings; “LILY” as we are proudly called as a family... :)

I thank GOD and wish that I too inherit a share of their love and opulence!!

MeRRy ChRisTmAs !!

ChRisTmAs celebrations fill the air; everything appearing softer, more beautiful & lovely with dash of ReD spilled all over, as if someone has waved a magic wand over the earth. We find ourselves enmeshed in the holiday season; with gifts, family and friends all wrapped in each other.....!!

“It is ChRisTmAs in the hEARt that puts ChRisTmAs in the air; a conspiracy that engages every being to LoVE, LaUGhter n LoNgiNgs....! It’s the finish of the year, wrapping us all in a blanket; feeling warmth & affection of the passing moments that come to us, honey-coated......

I wish you ALL a MeRRy ChRisTmAs : with jingle of bells & carols, smell of cakes & donuts; full of pleasures and memories to treasure.... !! :)

I wish to Santa to grant me the power to assemble ChRisTmAs SpiRiT in jars & open it every time I wish to iterate joy, laughter, love n light all around. :) ;

Play-FuLL !!

“Play-FuLL” is what i call my new creation; for the simple reason that I was in this state through-out; from the moment it started till its end.

A little history tied to this:

“I started this affair with all the involvement, indulgence, attention n patience that I could gather only to find out that it soon got destroyed; there n then...!! There is a little -- 3 years boy who fancies my laptop as a theatrical extension wherein he can enjoy his share of the movies [nemo, kung-fu panda, bug’s life and other animated versions to the list that counts to some of his favourites!]

So, if his attention draws him to the fact that I have my lappy working, he begins to get me moving to show him his share of the entertainment pie. He will not in any way allow you to engage in ur work if he is denied permission...so with this happenings I just managed to paint BLaCK all over; going against the winds [child is no less than the blowing wind; makes u perspire if you walk against its force....] and was left with the MOSTLY BLaCK piece of art. I later found that the outcome was not as bad as I thought and therefore decided to share with you all in its original form...!

Thought provoking thing is that this episode made me realise that sometimes it isn’t too bad to turn and go in the opposite way, becoz u never know what is there in store for you. I have now all my fears erased and wiped out and ready to give myself a new horizon to explore, which I previously dreaded to tread upon....!!

P.S : Chaos and pandemonium also leads to tranquillity and peace; most of the time !!
